A Winnipeg native, Mike has been playing the piano since he was four years old, and the organ since he was a teenager. Having studied all kinds of music at the University of Manitoba, he took a strong interest in composition and theory, which has led him to start up this site in the hopes of gaining some reknown as a composer. Mike is also a fine performer and accompanist, and often plays background music for social events and gatherings. He has played at all sorts of events, from afternoon teas to wedding receptions, and is very familiar with weddings and funerals. He is quite happy to be called on to make music for any occasion. As an accompanist, Mike has worked with many fine musicians and excellent choirs, and would be thrilled to work with more! Got an upcoming event that needs a musician? Contact Mike!
